For every five hours of automation work a client pays for, we strive to give an hour of pro bono support to someone who needs it and can't afford it. The more the practice grows, the more there is to give.
Real hours, not leftovers
Same attention as paid work: we map the process properly and build something that actually runs. Small by design, so it gets finished rather than promised.
You keep the keys
We train your team to run and change what we build, so the benefit doesn't disappear when we do. No dependency, no invoice waiting later.
If admin is eating the work that matters
We're intentionally broad about who qualifies, because need doesn't fit neatly into categories. Some examples of who we'd like to hear from:
Nonprofits and charities in Metro Vancouver where volunteer hours disappear into spreadsheets, intake forms, and grant paperwork.
Community organizations and social enterprises running on goodwill and a patchwork of tools nobody has time to fix.
Solo operators and very small businesses facing real barriers — newcomers building something here, people rebuilding after a setback, anyone for whom consulting fees are simply out of reach.
Someone you know. If a person or organization comes to mind rather than yourself, nominate them below. Some of the people who need this most are the least likely to ask.
We're a one-person practice, and the hours we can give are capped by the work we're paid for — so we can't say yes to everyone, and some requests will wait. Every application is read by Oliver personally; we endeavour to respond to all requests, however responses may take a few weeks.
