Who we are
Browes AI is an AI workflow consulting practice operated by Oliver Browes in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. For any privacy question, or to exercise any right described below, email hello@browes.ai.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you submit the contact form, we receive your name, work email, company name, industry, and whatever you write in the message field. If you email or message us directly, we receive whatever that message contains.
Basic server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested. This is generated automatically by web infrastructure and is used for security and reliability, not to build a profile of you.
We do not ask for and do not want sensitive personal information. Please don't send confidential client data, financial account details, or health information through the contact form.
Cookies and tracking
This website uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics service. Plausible sets no cookies, collects no personal data, and does not track visitors across sites or devices — it reports only aggregate traffic statistics, such as how many people visited a page. Because no cookies are set and no personal data is collected, no cookie consent banner is required, which is why you won't see one.
How we use your information
We use what you send us to reply to your enquiry, schedule and conduct a workflow audit, prepare a proposal, and deliver services if you become a client. We may also use it to follow up on a conversation you started. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we don't add you to a marketing list without your say-so.
Who else can see it
We use a small number of service providers to run the business, and your information may pass through them:
Netlify hosts this website and processes contact form submissions.
Google Workspace provides our email.
These providers store and process data on servers located in the United States and other countries, which means your information may be transferred outside Canada and can be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions, including lawful access requests by foreign authorities. By submitting the form you consent to that transfer. If you'd rather not, contact us by phone or in person instead.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't become projects are kept for up to two years, in case you get back in touch, and then deleted. Client records are kept as long as needed for the engagement plus any period required for tax, accounting, or legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
Your rights
Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), you can ask us to:

Email hello@browes.ai and we'll respond within 30 days. There's no charge for a reasonable request. If you're unsatisfied with how we've handled a privacy matter, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, form submissions are encrypted in transit, and access to enquiries is limited to Oliver Browes. No system is perfectly secure, so we ask that you don't send anything through this website that would cause harm if exposed.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we'll revise this page and update the date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
